It all started with Don Derezinski
Don had a passion for baking and loved experimenting with new recipes, especially his signature pizzas. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to open his first bakery in Lac du Flambeau, WI, where he invented the unique "Pizza Pillow." Later, he owned Bakers Dozen in Wisconsin Rapids before founding Neumark Design & Print, where he thrived on connecting with others through his work. Even after the sale of Neumark, Don remained active in sales and later started up Mats Plus More, always staying true to his famous saying, "I will never retire." He found joy in keeping busy and engaging with people. In 2022, Don had a call with Myriah Conradt of Acre Realty. Myriah had been advertising on his placemats for years. Myriah asked why the restaurants in her area didn't carry the placemats anymore.

Don responded, "Do you know of anyone who might need a part-time job in your area?" Myriah readily pursued the opportunity, and a great friendship and business partnership were formed..Myriah quickly expanded the territory to 10 restaurants while still pursuing a very active real estate career. Don was a great man and mentor to Myriah, who taught her the old-school way of cold calling a business. In March of 2025, Myriah received a call from Don's cell phone from his daughter that he had recently passed away unexpectedly. This was a huge loss for all, including the restaurants and advertisers of the Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, and the surrounding territories Don had been calling on for so many years. After some consideration, Myriah decided to keep Don's legacy alive, since that's what he would have wanted. And AdGarnish LLC was formed. AdGarnish creates customized placemats and menus for area restaurants and bars, and creates a sense of camaraderie and community among the advertisers that support local. I am honored to be a part of this legacy!
